It Friday which means its ship day!!
This week launch is a bit of a relaunch tbh.
But first, some context:
Back in July of last year, I was interning at WBD, and had no idea what I was gonna do with my life as per my resting state.
So I decided to start a podcast about it (obviously)
The original name for the show was Get Ahead, but that was taken. No one tells you how hard it is to name things? You gotta find something thats avaibalew on socials, website domain, and not too close to something famous etc etc…
But eventually settled on the name Finding your WHY
And for months that was as far as I got. I made a graphic for the show in November, and finally in January I interviewed my first episodes.
It was awesome, I started seeing the views trickle in, but as the podcast was being released my life was changing.
Suddenly the ideas of interviewing everyone from all industries just didn’t make sense anymore, it was too brad, I couldn’t connect with my audience or at least figure out who that would be.
Which is a problem.
I backed down from rebranding and relaunching because I was nervous people would think I was a flake, unwilling to commit. And tbh, at the time, I was(lowkey still am - working on it) so I just kept up the show for 3 months.
But 5 episodes later I realized this wasn’t working. I was determined not to quit the show. Not to be a flake, and to se this through.
So I rebranded, and today, I launched.
