The Caterpillar/Butterfly scenario

Since March I’ve realized I somehow fell into the habit of…🥁

Startup world is small, and seems like everyone is hanging out together etc. (being in ny rn not helping😂)

Then with LinkedIn/insta/tt it’s 10x. And I wondered if creating on there, is like when you put the treat on the dog’s nose and tell him not to eat it.

So I unfollowed ppl on insta/tt that aren’t ppl I know or ppl making content that inspires me to be better.

And deleted LinkedIn(for rn)

Instead of creating for the results, gonna focus on getting results outside of content and write abt it.

It’s rlly easy to fall into the trap of creating content to blow up and get a bunch of followers

I def did. Everytime somthjng flopped, I took it hard. When ppl around me did well, instead of celebrating for them, I was jealous. That’s a big red flag something is off for me.

i don’t want to view followers as like pretty rocks to collect, or notches on my belt. They’re ppl

No more optimizing every second of a reel, or making posts for the sake of following trends. I’ll document as we go, video journal style.

This means the Summermaxxing series will come to an end, but I’m hoping it will more a caterpillar/butterfly situation.😅
